Hi I'm Neil Warner of N C F R Neil's custom fishing rods.
I'm from the heart of the Nene valley Northamptonshire, where as a teenager (some 42 years ago!) I started fishing the mid Northants syndicate that was ran by Duncan Kay and also in France. Back then, not many dedicated carp rods were available so, with the help of Duncan i decided to build my own! it didn't quite go to plan. I percevered and ended up building a few for friends & so on. I worked in 3 tackle shop through the years, building new sets in my spare time, I then decided to go full time rod building as the last tackle shop close its doors. This was when i set up NCFR! Neil's custom fishing rods and have never looked back.
